Submit the Service Request
Provide contact information for both parties, the requested location, number of children, required visitation hours and intake availability.
Provide Current Documents
Submit the current custody and visitation orders, applicable restraining orders, signed service agreement, identification and requested child photographs.
Separate Intake and Screening
Each party completes a separate intake. The provider reviews the order, allegations and safety concerns, communication limits, child needs, service expectations and reasons a visit may be interrupted or terminated.
Case Acceptance and Service Planning
Bridging Families determines whether the requested service can be safely and appropriately provided. Acceptance is not automatic and depends on provider availability and case circumstances.
Fees, Scheduling and Procedures
Applicable fees, location, arrival and departure procedures, staging, transportation, authorized participants and communication procedures are confirmed before scheduling.
First Visit or Exchange
Parties follow the confirmed schedule and procedures. The provider observes, enforces applicable rules and maintains records consistent with agency policy.
Important
Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance or immediate availability. Bridging Families may decline, pause or terminate services when the requested arrangement cannot be safely or appropriately provided.
