Areas We Serve

Supervised Visitation and Exchange Services
in Alameda County

From the urban centers of Oakland, Berkeley, and Hayward to the more suburban and rural communities like Fremont, Union City, Newark, and Livermore, Alameda County is one of the most diverse and dynamic counties in California. Families here come from all backgrounds and may be navigating complex custody, visitation, and co-parenting challenges. Bridging Families is proud to support communities across Alameda County with professional supervised visitation and monitored exchange services designed to ensure child safety, emotional stability, and full court compliance.

We understand that each family’s circumstances are unique. Some parents may be following court-ordered visitation schedules due to separation or custody disputes, while others voluntarily seek support to re-establish contact or reduce co-parenting conflict. No matter the context, Bridging Families creates a neutral, supportive, and child-centered space where relationships can be preserved or restored in a safe, respectful manner.

All of our professional visitation monitors are thoroughly trained and qualified under California Family Code §3200.5 and Judicial Council Standard 5.20. Each provider completes at least 24 hours of specialized training in areas such as child development, trauma-informed care, domestic violence, cultural sensitivity, and emergency protocols. All monitors are also TrustLine-registered and Live Scan fingerprint cleared, ensuring a high standard of ethical and professional care.

Our services in Alameda County are flexible and community-oriented. We facilitate supervised visitation in neutral locations such as libraries, parks, and family-friendly public spaces. For families experiencing high-conflict or requiring structure, we also offer monitored custody exchanges to support peaceful transitions between parents. For those separated by distance or with special circumstances, we provide virtual visitation through secure video conferencing platforms.

Every supervised visit and monitored exchange is carefully observed and documented. Detailed observation notes are available upon request and can be provided to attorneys, family court personnel, or therapists involved in the case. We work closely with courts, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure all services meet legal standards and prioritize the best interests of the child.
