Sample Off-site Supervised Visitation
Schedule and Costs
The following example shows how a two-hour court-ordered supervised visit may be scheduled at an agreed-upon off-site location. Off-site visits may include travel fees depending on the service location, travel requirements, and the assigned provider’s established service area.
- Supervised Visitation: $100.00 per hour, 2-hour minimum
- Sample Travel Fee: $30.00
- Arrival / Drop-off / Staging Time: 30 minutes
- Departure / Pickup / Staging Time: 30 minutes
- Total scheduled service window in this example: 3 hours
- 5:00 PM - Custodial parent arrives at the agreed-upon location with the child.
- 5:15 PM - Bridging Families staff takes custody of the child and the custodial parent leaves the location.
- 5:15 PM - Bridging Families staff contacts the non-custodial parent and confirms that the child is present at the location.
- 5:30 PM - Non-custodial parent arrives at the location and the supervised visitation begins.
- 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Court-ordered supervised visitation takes place.
- 7:30 PM - Supervised visitation ends and the non-custodial parent departs the location.
- 7:45 PM - Bridging Families staff contacts the custodial parent and confirms that the child is ready to be picked up.
- 8:00 PM - Bridging Families staff releases the child to the custodial parent.
- $300.00 - Supervised visitation and staging time: 3 hours x $100.00 per hour
- $30.00 - Sample travel fee
- $330.00 - Sample total for a 2-hour court-ordered supervised visitation conducted off-site
Important Pricing Notes
These examples are provided for general planning purposes only. The $30.00 travel fee shown in the off-site example is illustrative and does not apply to every case. Travel fees generally range from $30.00 to $90.00 per scheduled service and are confirmed in advance based on the service location, travel requirements, and the assigned provider’s established service area. Extended-distance services may require a custom travel quote. Other costs may vary depending on the court order, number of children, case complexity, safety concerns, provider availability, required documentation, and any additional terms stated in the Bridging Families Service Contract and Fee Schedule.
